The View

So Bekah tagged me for the following, here is the info:

1. Step out your front door and take a picture.
2. Step out your back door and take a picture.
3. Put them on your blog, along with the rules.
4. If there are things in the photos that you particularly like or dislike, you can point them out, or just explain what we are seeing. Maybe changes over the seasons or some junk in your neighbor's yard that drives you nuts.
5. Tag as many or few people as you like - preferably at least one though.
6. Do it again next month if you like.

Ok, so the pictures:

This is our front yard view. It's always pretty this time of year with the trees blooming and things turning green....wish our lawn was in a little better shape.

Here's the backyard. The kids love spending their time out here, jumping on the trampoline or swinging on the "star cruiser". Again, the lawn and weeds could use some attention, hopefully this week....

Now to tag:
Jen , Jess , and James .

Have fun!!

We're home!

Here are the kids fishing at Marilyn's spring.

Gage checking out the goats; apparently with no fear of the barbed wire fence!

Ryder was concentrating very hard on catching a big fish. He LOVES to fish!

Mooch crying "uncle", something tells me she wasn't sad to see us drive away! :-)

We had a great visit at Mimi and Papa's! It was awesome to see everyone, especially my cousins who all made it a point to stop by and visit (Thanks!). Baby Owen is a little cutie with the best smile, Ashlynn wanted to hold him the whole time.

We literally played outside every moment it was daylight and not raining, so the kids are probably going to go into withdrawals this week. Hopefully we will be able to head back down at the end of June to visit with Aaron, Melissa and Rilynn....can't wait!

Headin' out....

The kids and I are headed down to Mimi and Papa's tomorrow morning (Randy has to work :-(). We figured we'd squeeze one last visit in before our baby arrives. I am so excited, I get to meet my cousin's new baby boy, Owen. He is such a cutie in all of the pictures I've seen, I can't wait to hold him in "real life".

I'll be sure to post pictures when we return!!! See ya'll later!

I see you!

We've had a couple of really nice days around here and have been spending every minute outside. The kids are so happy to be swinging and sliding and just plain running around the yard. I've been trying to sneak in some yard work (pics of that later) while they play, so let's just say we are all tired at the end of the day!

Happy Birthday Ran!!!

A Happy Birthday to my main squeeze!! I don't know if I blogged your silly comment you made to me recently, but I'll share it again:

"You could have done better.....but you could've done worse."

That just made me crack up!!! There's no way I could have done better, but the worse part I'll definitely agree with! :-)

Thanks for being my BEST friend these last thirteen years.

I'm glad your parents waited five years after they were married to have you though, you might have been too old for me otherwise.......

Love you, have a great day!!

It's really better just not to leave the house.....

We had a great time with Auntie Colie here, check out her blog for pictures as my camera was MIA. Ofcourse, it went by way too fast, but it always seems to do that when family comes for a visit!!

Yesterday I had to run a few errands. Target for contact lens solution, Kohl's to make a return and the bank for a deposit. Actually, Target and Kohl's are two places I try to avoid and now I remember why.

That dreaded "want monster" just starts to take over inside. Every aisle you pass in Target you see something that would be "perfect" in this room or just what I "needed" for that room.

A quick walk past clothing racks at Kohl's makes you imagining a new wardrobe for the entire family. Not that the clothes you already own aren't fine, but these are "better", "cooler", more "trendy".

Seriously, I could have spent hundreds of dollars yesterday on things I totally didn't need, just to run a few errands. It's definitely safer to stay home....or just go to the park.

Woohoo....

Auntie Colie is coming today!!!!!!

Bring on the facials, massages, eating out (Thai food, yummy!), shopping (for kitchen stuff, ofcourse!) and lots of fun!!!

We'll try to post pictures in between all of our running around.....
