Frog Days

Apparently fall and frogs are synonymous around here. Every time I step outside, I almost step on one of the little guys.

The kids LOVE it.

Here they are with some of their "catch". They do make good little homes for them, check on them often and get sad when they "jump the coup".

It's really ok though, there are plenty more to be caught.

I like how they put flowers in the frog house. Frogs need flowers too!

Apparently they like our place too. Lu and I found one last week and then I saw two more the last couple of nights. I didn't tell her though for fear of taking on a new pet! I used to love frogs when I was little. Did you ever help me collect them from the lake? I have a pic of me when I was like nine with two frogs held up to my (topless) little boobs:) and a huge goofy smile on my face. It's hilarious.

P.S. If it's ok with mom:) Tell Ashlynn if she'd like, next time you visit, I can straighten her hair as flat as a board. At least it'll stay until she hits water:)

Don't ya just love it!! Frogs are what Tallon goes after when he comes over here. He especially likes my little green tree frogs that live in my plant on the porch. I tell him he's not allowed to touch those though because they are so little. Day before yesterday I had to show him where one of his precious frogs bit the dust because it landed on your dad's electric wire fence. Yup... he was like the squirrel with arm extended over the wire. I'm sure he thought he could just hop over it....... so sad. Tallon's sad little reaction...... "That is way cool!!!!!" Yup.. it just tore his little heart out.

Love ya, mom
